One of my favorite, natural places to visit in "The Great Outdoors" is Bear Lake. This lake has the most amazing blue water, sunrises, & wildflowers, including poppies. I gave this illustration a golden undertone to be reminiscent of the sun's glow & the warmth I feel when reflecting on my memories of this place. I used traditional media: including watercolors, gouache, acrylic, & colored pencils, to create this painting.
