The Great Outdoors: Wildflower Field

When I was preschool-aged, my out-of-town aunt and uncle had come to visit and took me for a picnic in a park that felt magical with all its open fields and wildflowers. It was a warm, golden sunny day that lives on in my memory as one of the most fun nostalgia nuggets in my mind. It’s a feeling of warmth and happiness that I catch anytime I see an open field with wildflowers growing in a happy riot of blooms. Fields of wildflowers are one of my favorite places in the great outdoors.
