As the world’s first Garden City, Letchworth was created with both of those two attributes in mind. A place for hustle and bustle of city life with restaurants, coffee shops and all the local shops you’ll need, nestled in the expanse of green open spaces with trees, parks and leisure facilities all around.

Stanley Park is one of the largest urban parks in Canada and is only 10 min from my home. There are a lot of things to see. My Favorite route is a walk from Second Beach to Brockton point. You can't miss the features on this way! Meet Raccons near the Lost Lagoon, the flowers on the Rose Garden , and see the view of the North Vancouver from the lawn close to the Brockton Oval. Some Restaurants , Vancouver Aquarium and other attractions are temporarily closed, but you can Enjoy the fresh air and the giants trees right now!

I have been born and raised in Rio de Janeiro. Copacabana is without a doubt my favorite place to walk. A place that I lived for many years and that is still my favorite today. The energy of the people, the beauty of nature, the explosion of colors was the reason why Tom Jobim named Copa The Princess of the Sea. Every time I need an injection of energy I visit the streets of Copacabana. Visiting Copacabana always makes me smile, makes me feel that life is beautiful and I always leave the city full of inspiration.

La calle 20 de noviembre es una vialidad emblemática de la ciudad de Durango, México. Alrededor de esta se encuentran edificaciones antiguas que son un gran atractivo para pasear y admirar su arquitectura.

I was thinking of that last night walk with your beloved dog looking up at a map of the stars.

My husband and I live in a remote mountain valley in Eastern Oregon with our German Shepherd pup and our kitty. We are always looking for beautiful walking spots with lots of steep hills (so that our puppy can get all of his energy out). This loop is the perfect mix of challenging hills made worth it by breathtaking views of the valley. It is a great loop to run as well. On especially beautiful days it is worthwhile to keep climbing up through the huckleberry and rosehip filled forest to the top of the hill where you can linger and take in the 360 degree views of snow capped mountains and Ladd Marsh.

This map illustrates the walking trails right outside my backyard. The trails are an endless journey of gardens, fields, bugs, birds, ponds, streams and beauty.

I discovered this walk while doing one of the parts of the Green Chain walk in London. It was a surprise to me to discover the statues of the dinosaurs and the Maze. I had seen mazes like that in movies but never in reality so it was super fun to go inside and find the exit. The whole park is kind of magical and it is interesting to imagine the Crystal Palace which doesn’t exist anymore because of a big fire. The only parts remaining from the palace are the terraces and a tiny bit square but you can still imagine how big it was and how beautiful the place used to be.

This map shows a small circular route round a beautiful part of North Bristol. I live locally so it's wonderful to celebrate its beautiful history and architecture as well as its niche independent shops, bakeries and restaurants.

One of my favorite things to do in central Izmir is to take a walk on the seaside or the central park, get some fresh air and grab a quick bite. Here is a list of my favorite dishes and places in walking distance.

Sometimes I take a long walk around the neighborhood to see the ocean and the beach and the trees. If I am lucky I get to see the Monarch Butterflies.

My favourite walk is to walk through the town of Byron Bay, grab a coffee and head to the beach or up to the lighthouse. Watching the sunrise or sunset, surfers, dolphins and whales. Byron Bay is such a majical and unique place.

This is a bite-sized walk, part of Portland’s amazing Trail system... it’s just enough for a quick dog walk, to see flowers, trees, birds, or catch up with a friend (there’s something for each season!)- A shot of nature nestled in our little city.
