Recently I started going to a local illustration club in my neighbourhood and the group became a collective of artists who meet every Wednesday to draw together and work on commune projects. The other day I offered two of them to join me to see an exhibition of zines. It was so nice to meet people who I can talk with about art and illustration. Even though we have a gap of 20 years between the three of us, it felt like we are all in the same spot when it comes to drawing. I felt like I belong. Afterwards we went into this friendly Thai restaurant and I realised I can see an angry bunny hiding within my tofu rice dish. I made this drawing for us as a souvenir from that afternoon.
