The Great Outdoors
This is an illustration of me as a child with my dad on the ferry to Hammock's Beach State Park. We would always go to a North Carolina beach for a week in the summer when I was a kid. We would pick a day during that week to take the ferry to Hammock's Beach. It was a magical place with no people and no structures, just beautiful sandy beaches. My dad passed away in 2008. I enjoy thinking back on this memory of a time with him.
