While I was vacationing last summer in my husband's family's coastal Welsh village (where we spend most of our days in the Great Outdoors with long walks, fun hikes, stops at the beaches, and lots of ice cream with some of our most favorite people), I created this landscape as a wind-down drawing before bed. It was meditative and relaxing and borne of play and not planning. Kind of like many of the great moments of our days out.
