Under the Moonlight

Camping during the summer nights growing up I would sleep in my grandmother’s backyard pretending to be deep in the forest. As I got older we did get to go camping in the actual woods and it was everything I could imagine it to be. Star gazing, trying to find the big and little dipper, watching the fireflies glimmer in the trees, roasting marshmallows under the bonfire, and feeling the coziness of the woods and the crispness of the night woodsy air on my face and the scent of pine and earth filling my lungs. I tried to capture this magical feeling in an etch-inspired forest silhouetted by the light of the full moon and glittering starry sky. Enjoy!
