When I initially started drawing this piece, it was supposed to be a strawberry plant illustration with more pinks and a much brighter vibe. But, once I started playing with it, I took leafy elements away from the flowers and I discovered these ambiguous flowers that I could carry into this more sophisticated color palette. It just goes to show you that your original idea is not always the best idea and that is a-okay.
