This is an illustrated map of my hometown! I wanted to capture Ogden's unique spirit in this piece. I chose each design element carefully so I could achieve this. For example, the yellow in this map is the color of many historic buildings downtown, and the blues are the colors in the city logo. The main "Ogden" lettering is inspired by an iconic sign that welcomes people to the city. To give this digital map a tactile feel, I made ink textures on paper and scanned them into Photoshop.
