Bio:

I am Yvonne Nikolaison and the artist / illustrator of Tofata Park Studio. I live with my husband, a shitzu called Molly and three alpacas on a small lifestyle block in the Wairarapa, New Zealand, living off the grid. During the summer months we pick and sell cherries under Tofata Park, well my husband does anyway.

I have spent my working life dealing with people from all walks of life from the Medical and Insurance Industries. I have Bachelor degrees in Information Technology and Oral Health.

We enjoy taking our motorhome, Gerty, on trips around our lovely country when time allows and I feel lucky to be able to continue to work while we do so.

When I am not deep in my art, I can be found hiking in the local hills, doing yoga, walking Molly, reading, Rock n Roll dancing, patchwork and quilting, sewing, working in my vegetable garden and preserving fruit and vegetables.

Tofata is an acronym for Two Old Farts and Their Animals, just in case you were curious about the name.
