Bio:

Angela Matteson is a midwest-based illustrator who paints heartfelt, colorful characters with a strong emotional narrative. A love of pattern and design led her to work as a greeting card and gift packaging designer. She has worked as a Marketing Director and food packaging designer. Her paintings have been shown in galleries, both locally in the midwest and nationally. She illustrated the humorous picture book, IF YOU WANT TO KNIT SOME MITTENS by Laura Purdie Salas.
Angela finds inspiration in her flower and vegetable gardens where she is often taking reference photos, accompanied by affectionate cats.
