Farida Zaman has a passion for art and design and in her 20 years as a freelance illustrator she has worked in many countries across the world, bringing style, color, and joy to many. Trained in fine art and illustration and now a seasoned freelance professional, Farida displays a wide versatility of applications of her style: her art has been used for publishing, editorial, corporate to the surface design and giftware industry. The look is unmistakable: lively, colorful,whimsical, executed with flair - designs that always enhance and enliven.
Trained in one of the top art schools in London- Chelsea School of Art and Wimbledon School of Art, Farida has built an international career as a freelance illustrator in Geneva, London, New
York, and Toronto. Her fine art - paintings and limited edition prints - have sold largely through private showings. Farida works with clients all over the world. She draws inspiration from the colors of Marrakech, textiles in Bangkok, the markets of Istanbul, New York’s energy and London’s cosmopolitism. She is a member of the Society of Illustrators in New York, SCBWI (Society for Children's Book writers and Illustrators.
