Santa Claus Village is very beautiful scenery and I got excited. The first impression was a blue and white snowy landscape. but I found many christmas goods of red , green and gold in the store, Instantly. All the stores were in full Christmas mode- it's warm color or light.
Please try to go there to because it is a very romantic place.
I was born and raised in Beijing, China. The Drum Tower area is one of my favorite places in my hometown. There are thousands of little Hutongs (Beijing term for "Narrow Alleyways") which are housings, small boutiques, cafes, and -- Live music venues. Here are some of my favorite places. Beijing also has a strong tradition in Punk/Rock&Metal ;)
This Map/illustration highlights the cultural art & crafts, from Kutch (the village) to Bhuj (the city). Kutch is a spot of colour in the vast dessert. The scattered mud houses (Bhunga) is a treasure trove inside, with its shimmering mud & mirror art, hand crafted colourful rugs & the hospitable inhabitants. The funky mud walls, colourful kite/fabric ceiling at Shaam-e-Sarhad resort & the moon rise at the white salt dessert are not to be missed. The old palace ruins in Bhuj is an architectural treat. Lastly the Hunnarshala (NGO- involved low cost housing techniques after the earth quake) with its beautiful braided thatched roof and mud houses are an inspiration.
I live in South Pasadena. It's a favorite for film & television productions because of it's beautiful Craftsman-style homes, friendly small-town feel and proximity to the film industry. I've been learning about some fun shooting locations used in some pretty memorable movies.
Downtown Lancaster has been my home for the past 10 years and I've grown to love its historic charm, unique cafes and shops, as well as all the destinations that make the city so special! These are just some of the places I frequent and have fond memories of.
I am an illustrator Yebin Mun currently living and working in Seoul. I used to go these places with my mon when she visited to me. Actually, I love every part of Seoul. Especially, Bukchon Hanok Village. I wish you could visit there once. You will love it.
The best way to explore Bangkok is pier hopping! It's really cool to go across Chaophraya river by boat, feeling the tropical wind. There are many piers(tha) along the river, and each pier(tha) has its own style. The most popular tourist sights are located between Central Pier to 13th pier(Tha Phra Athit) , but my favorite is 15th pier(Tha Thewet). The 15th pier has a lovely flower market, and you can feed fish while waiting for your boat. Fun! I lived in Dusit district. My apartment was on Suan Ooy street(in the upper left corner). I miss the yummy street food in that neighborhood!
