Sometimes you have to leave a place to truly appreciate its unique qualities. It was not until living abroad I started to really see the most fantastic features of my hometown Stockholm, most of which I took for granted when living there. Haarlem is a charming city just a few minutes by train from Amsterdam. And there is plenty to discover. Visit a museum, explore cute hofjes or take a tour of the windmill. Go for a wander in the nearby Zuid Kennemerland National Park, then be sure to have a tasty craft beer at Jopenkerk or Het Uiltje Bar. Hope you enjoy this little map. Tenerife is so much more than just beaches! Nature is absolutely stunning, the great volcano Teide very impressive and I love spotting animals all around the island.
