Sometimes we just passed through, on the way to RMNP for a three day camping trip. Other times we would stop to fish along the Big Thompson River, and never quite make it to Estes Park. When I was in high school, I worked one summer cleaning cabins in the area, it was great to be "out in the woods, by the river, in the crisp clean air!"Summer is a great time to visit, but you won't want to miss the Aspens in the fall!
