It's March 2020 and we're all on similar islands. I've personally been hanging out on Snack Mountain, but I'm trying to visit Positivity Point as often as possible. My husband takes the raft to Grocery Isle once per week and so far, no sightings of the Corona Monster.
The Milicz Ponds (in Polish Stawy Milickie) are a group of about 285 fish ponds in Lower Silesia, near the city of Wroclaw. The wetlands are home of a huge variety of water birds such as black storks, eagles and crested grebe among others.
Basel is Switzerland's third-most-populous city and is located where the Swiss, French and German borders meet. It has over 40 museums and one of the most beautiful old towns in Europe with narrow streets and over 300 fountains. The architecture in Basel is an eclectic mixture from medieval and modern buildings. And last but not least the city has a huge variety of restaurants, cafés and bars with delicious international food in fancy locations. This map show some of my favorite places there.
Thank you for taking a look at my illustrated map of Bristol, UK. It is where I call home as I have lived here for the longest time. It is a city of mixed cultures and history, a strong accent and local slang words. Bristol has a whole lot of soul and character, I love this place, it's gert lush! (really good/awesome)
Growing up in Tanzania, I have fond memories of visiting our country’s various national parks and game reserves. My father used to fly bush planes such as Cessnas and Pipers from our home city of Dar-Es-Salaam to take us to the Serengeti, Mt. Kilimanjaro and Selous Game Reserve. I vividly remember being in awe of witnessing the great wildebeest migration in the Serengeti and the snow atop Mt. Kilimanjaro. Tanzania’s wildlife and warm culture is a beautiful ode to the rich culture that is a mix of Bantu and Arabic influences also known as the Swahili Coast. I hope this map evokes a sense of exploration and curiosity in you. Karibu Tanzania!
