With an illustrated blue print as the base, this is a map of my kitchen that comes to life with inspiration from each ingredient that goes into my experimental recipes.
a cool thing about my hometown (niskayuna - we call it "nisky"!) is our lil' section of the expansive bike path that runs through much of upstate NY! this is a map of real places and childhood memories built along the route. the linework of this piece was drawn in ink and scanned, and then color was added digitally.

Coming from a small town in the country, I grew up with a fascination for the moon and always had the best views. Now I'm in Baltimore attending college at the Maryland Institute College of Art. I've searched out the best places to see La Luna in this concrete jungle.
This map chronicles the best places to rest your buttocks in the Bolton Hill area of Baltimore. Each bench has it's own character and perks for visiting it. This map was done for an Illustration course at Maryland Institute College of Art, which is the area this map focuses on.
