As you drive down Highway 64 near Bloomfield, New Mexico and approach the Salmon Ruins you can hear an very old loop tape on your AM radio of Ricardo Montalbán explaining the mysterious history of the Ancestral Pueblo peoples (Anasází) of the Southwest.
I studied at the Savannah College of Art and Design and fell in love with Savannah. Exploring the city by foot became a favourite pastime after living my entire life in a place where you can barely go anywhere without a car. Savannah is the perfect place for such a pastime, what with its historic architecture, and its Southern charm where utter strangers will often exchange greetings. While I have a lot of cherished places there, my absolute favourite route goes through these three squares down in Bull St. You can find out more about this illustration in my blog.
Recently I went overseas for the first time and kicked off my travels in London. I really came to find London to be quite a magical and amazing place! From a horse head sculpture to a unicorn and lion that guard Hyde Park to the queen jewels to a Willy Wonka-like sweet store, London is sure to sweep you off your feet!
