This is an interpretation of the neighborhood in Illinois where I lived from the ages of eight to eighteen. This is a semi-topographical map of Portland Maine. I took a heightmap from an old map of Portland from the 1940's, rendered a wireframe in the Blender 3D Modeling and Animation Suite, printed, inked and watercolored it, and scanned it back to digital to finally add the buildings.
