T.C. is where I was born and raised; although I currently live in Los Angeles, Traverse is always my home. It's a wonderful town, and if you're lucky enough to visit - you're sure to have a good time. I made this map in dedication to the landmarks that I immerdiatly think of when I'm homesick.
Sunny, Sandy, Savary Island! My family's paradise island on B.C's Sunshine Coast. In this map, my sister is painting in her bikini, my dad is kayaking, my step mom has her binoculars and I'm in my red sweater bike riding.
A few buildings remaining of a deserted village on the Polish-Czech boarder, 20 years ago brought back to life by a passionate mountain and nature lover. At present, a tourist station for the cross country skiers, mountain bikers and walkers. In winter hosting cross-country ski racing events (like known in Europe Bieg Piastów) and sled dog races.
After a summer long family vacation in South Korea, we took a few days to explore Jeju Island, where I celebrated by 13th birthday in the most memorable way- climbing rocks by a beautiful sparkling waterfall, horseback riding, walking along the beach with the clearest blue water, and a delicious Korean feast with tasty rice cakes for dessert!
I grew up in Loveland, and Estes Park was a day trip taken two or three times a year by my family. Sometimes we just passed through, on the way to RMNP for a three day camping trip. Other times we would stop to fish along the Big Thompson River, and never quite make it to Estes Park. When I was in high school, I worked one summer cleaning cabins in the area, it was great to be "out in the woods, by the river, in the crisp clean air!"Summer is a great time to visit, but you won't want to miss the Aspens in the fall!
This is the best place on earth, is dry but is fun, there is too many good things to do like cycling, horse ridding, sandboarding, etc. One of the highlights is to enjoy the beautiful sunset at Moon Valley in the most orange, purple and brown landscape ever.
