Small kitchens, greenhouses, markets, bakeries, butcher shops and tap houses are literally everywhere in the quirky Cleveland neighborhoods. Cleveland’s food is a reflection of the people who grow it, make it and eat it... and that reflection looks pretty cool to me. I’ve chosen to map just a few of my favorite spots to grab a bite to eat in this off beat city that I love so much.
I spent the decade of my twenties living in coffee shops in Philadelphia. I'd seen a lot come and go, but these are ones that have seemed to stand the test of time. This illustrated map shows my favorite things in one of my favorite neighborhoods in New York City; DUMBO, Brooklyn. I finished this map shortly before Storm Sandy ravaged the city. So far it sounds like DUMBO is going bounce back but it's going to take a lot of support. If you have a fondness for this neighborhood as well, you can check out dumbonyc.com to keep tabs on restoration progress and ways to help!
