Beautiful Island... Good times never if end if they are remembered. Beach rules, wake up smiling, flips flops are the mandatory, feel the breeze, take long walks, soak up the sun, make a splash, hang up to towel, leave the sand at the beach, relax and unwind, watch of sunrise, ride the waves, kick back, build sandcastle, cold beer with good company, laughs, fall in love, enjoy each moment, look at the stars, be grateful, the life is two days.
This is a map of El Retiro park in Madrid. El Retiro is a 125 hectares park filled with scupltures, monuments and galleries. Madrid is the next European capital city I want to visit when the pandemics is over. I am currently taking some Spanish classes and I am looking forward to be able to use my new language skills !
I submitted this for the picnic challenge, but wanted to post it here as well, since it fits too! ;-) I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that right now I think I might like to travel somewhere far, far away—preferably alone, with a coffee, and a piece of chocolate cake. If only for a little while, just to be able to look at our planet as a whole and realize that there is beauty that remains despite it all. ~Allyson Wilson IG: allyson.wilson_art
A fun twist to the pandemic when most of my work got cancelled!
Singing with my husband , baking and painting are part of my relaxing moments. But some are very stressful, like when the grocery box is delivered at my doorstep. Video calls with friends and family are very helpful. I have a call with my Mom every day, She is alone at home so is the way we can stay close! But we can't forget that at 7 pm is time to clap at our balconies and be grateful for the hard work of the Front-line care workers. At the end of the day Netflix is our best friend. I am glad to be safe and healthy until now! I forgot to draw about my online Yoga class. I'm trying to do at least twice a week!! I can't promisse more! I have lots of things to do at Home!
When quarantine started because of COVID-19, I decided to spend this time doing things I couldn't do very much until then.
Even in this situation, there are many things I can do in and around the house, and I was able to notice the small happiness in my life.
It was very encouraging to see how people all over the world were spending this time through their unique drawings.
Thank you so much for such a wonderful project!
