This map is inspired by my travels around Australia 2011-2013 in a Volvo Commodore. This particular part of the drive took us from Norseman in Western Australia and across the Nullabor, which basically means 'No Trees'. It was flat, open and pretty deserted for more than 2000km. Coming from the tiny island of the UK this introduction to driving around Australia totally blew my mind!
