Alligator Alley, Florida

“Alligator Alley” (Formally known as Interstate 75) is a controversial road built in 1968 connecting the east and west coasts of Florida. The controversy originates from the fact that it cuts directly through the Everglades. While there are some bridges and tunnels to help wildlife pass through the road safely, I-75 attracts the local alligator population to the traffic with its warm pavement and convenient placement.
