I have always loved Thai floating markets. There is something about the noise and chaos of the crowds, mixed with the many different things to eat, see and buy that makes it an extremely fun way to spend a day. The floating markets are comprised of canals filled with vendors selling things out of their boats. You can either walk along the side and they will row up to you, or you can hire a boat to take you around for an hour. At famous Amphawa Floating Market, Samut Songkhram and Damnoen Saduak Floating Market in Ratchaburi has some amazing and unique markets that I was always excited to visit. Although most of them have gotten a bit touristy, they are still such a wonderful experience that they are totally worth a visit once or more! :)
