From the palace the streets go out like rays through the houses and the huge forest- that is why Karlsruhe is also called "the fan city". The sights are from 18th century onwards. It's a little piece of heaven where you can be in touch with nature, feel like royalty in the royal garden, and still be in a very contemporary city.
