A walk around a nature reserve tucked in a northern city. These little woods have been the set for my children's imagination. During lockdown, they have travelled to deep dark forests, taken Winnie the Pooh to 100 Acre Wood, flown to the moon, stomped out a bear hunt and searched for treasure island.. We have seen birds and bugs, followed footprint trails and rabbit poo! Collected feathers, all the colours of leaves and precious rocks. Then watched the geese come and go. A lovely place for city dwelling babies.
