Walking around Margaret Island is one of my favourite activities when I visit my home city, Budapest. It has a rich history dating back a millenium including tatars, Medieval monasteries, kings' residencies and poets. This beautiful park that sits right at the heart of the city, got its name from Pricess Margaret of Hungary. It's the one place where my family of four always go for a walk when we are in town. I love the story that unfolds through its landmarks and beautiful trees.
