Sefton Park is a popular place for stroll within the city of Liverpool. Its bandstand was said to have influenced the Beatles song, ‘Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’. The Palmhouse is an iconic Victorian glasshouse and the boating lake is home to a variety of ducks, swans and even herons. You must throw some coins into the waterfall pool at the Fairy Glen and make a wish -then go to see how many creatures you can find engraved in the statue of Peter Pan! No wonder it’s a family favourite place to visit on Merseyside.
