I was born and raised in Kyoto.Near my hometown, there exists Amanohashidate, one of the three most scenic spots in Japan.
It is an unusual landform with about 5,000 pine trees growing on a sandbar about 20 to 170 meters wide and 3.6 kilometers long.It is a formation created by nature over thousands of years. The view from the observatory is very good. You can walk, ride a bicycle or boat, or swim in the beach. It is also a popular way to enjoy nature. There are many old temples nearby.
