This place is special to me because it's the place where I spent the happiest hours of my life. Napoli and its magical harbors. From the former fishing village of Santa Lucia, you will reach the small marina at Borgo Marinari at the foot of the enormous Castel dell'Ovo. Here is the small, nondescript trattoria Castel dell'Ovo, also called O'Tabbaccaro, which serves delicious fish and seafood dishes. You sit directly at the water, the boats rock, in the background the ever present Vesuvius. Gorgeous! Here you will also find the street musicians who go from restaurant to restaurant and accompany the meals musically, often accompanied by loud songs of local guests. From Borgo Marinari, along Via Francesco Caracciolo, you will come to Villa Communale Municipal Park, where you will find the marine biology institute Acquario. From there, to the west, lies the picturesque harbor of Mergellina. On the way, you can visit two of the best pizzerias in Naples: Gino Sorbillo Lievito Madre al Mare and 50 Kalò. Arriving at the port, treat yourself to a delicious Neapolitan caffè and a babà at Chalet Ciro.
