Wherever you are, it is possible to enjoy a winter walk in nature. Just be mindful of what you see, smell and hear.

The first lockdown caught me far from home, in the small town of Batumi, Georgia, on the Black sea coast. My boyfriend and I spent hundreds of hours walking the city. Those walks filled us with peace and gave us a sense of tranquility in front of an uncertain future during the beginning of the global pandemic. This map shows a few of the most iconic places in Batumi such as Batumi Boulevard, the Ali and Nino statue, and the original railway station.
