My name’s Soo. I’m from Merseyside in the North West of England. I love living in a city but am also fortunate that the beautiful countryside (or seaside) isn’t too far away. I have a fine art degree and although I’m happy moving paint around a canvas or drawing from life, I love the world of illustration and the stories it can tell.

Sefton Park is a popular place for stroll within the city of Liverpool. Its bandstand was said to have influenced the Beatles song, ‘Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’. The Palmhouse is an iconic Victorian glasshouse and the boating lake is home to a variety of ducks, swans and even herons. You must throw some coins into the waterfall pool at the Fairy Glen and make a wish -then go to see how many creatures you can find engraved in the statue of Peter Pan! No wonder it’s a family favourite place to visit on Merseyside.
This is Croxteth Hall and Country Park. Once the country estate of The Molyneux family the Earls of Sefton. An Edwardian mansion with a Victorian walled garden, horses, highland cows, a farm, a cafe and lots of fresh air! I’ve walked there in every season but a brisk early morning winter’s walk is a must to see the vast acres of grass coated in a frosty shimmer.
