I've always been captivated by the diversity of hats and caps from around the world. Each has a colorful history and many tales to tell. The true origins of some of these hats and caps are a bit obscure, but I've pointed them to the region where they are most commonly associated.
As a former zookeeper and an avid stargazer, the theme for my map was an easy choice: animals in the night sky! I only had "space" to fit my favorites (there are over 40 different animal-named constellations). I hope my map will help others better recognize these star shapes when they stare into the cosmos...I feel I know them much better now myself!
This place is special to me because my girlfriend and I visited the island during a milestone birthday. It was my first time visiting the Keys and I was blown away by the lush trees and flowers, the intriguing history, the abundant sunshine, tropical birds and marine life...and the delicious fish and fritters! There's simply no better place to celebrate a birthday, Key West is truly a paradise! This map is now a cherished keepsake of my vacation, but it can also be used as a guide for anyone planning their first-time visit!
This map captures the unique architecture and lifestyle vibe of the very hip L.A. community of Playa Vista, California. Home to Google, Yahoo, IMAX and more, it is sometimes referred to as "Silicon Beach."
This is a map of the itinerary for a local high school band's Spring Break trip to Puerto Rico in 2019. It highlights the various places they'll see and things they'll do on their 7-day adventure. An illustrated map like this helps students and parents visualize where they will travel and what activities they will participate in.
The city of Chicago has a dark history of disaster and death, from devastating fires (Iroquois Theatre), horrific accidents (S.S. Eastland) and dreadful events (St. Valentine's Day Massacre). Let my Edward Gorey-inspired map help guide you to 14 sites known among ghost hunters and paranormal investigators to be the most active. Even if you don't believe in such otherworldly phenomenon, perhaps my map will lure you into discovering something new about Chicago's spellbinding history.
