I'm an artist and art teacher working towards a career in illustration in Bellevue, Washington. I live with my husband of 16 years, my two kids that I also homeschool (ages 12 and 9), and two silly gerbils, Star and Chip. With every spare minute, I'm painting, usually with watercolor, and managing my two-time champion fantasy basketball team.

Come along on my recent trip to Yellowstone! Follow the dotted path to see all the wild, surreal, majestic sights I saw. Drive slowly and carefully to spot the wildlife along the way, and be patient; bison might hold you up in traffic halfway through the trip. Happy travels!
I love to bike ride through Crissy Field. It is definitely one of my happy places. I love the plentiful, free parking. I love rolling down the bright green grassy hills with my kids. I love visiting The Warming Hut Bookstore & Cafe, waving to the seabirds at Torpedo Wharf, and then hitting the San Francisco Bay Trail on a bicycle.
During this stressful time of quarantine, my mother has suffered from high blood pressure and cabin fever--two things that don't mix well. I didn't realize the severity of her health issues until we tried to walk around the lake at her apartment complex, a walk we had done many, many times before, and realized that she could hardly make it around anymore. Everything on the walk felt like a danger. I documented those dangers--and my fear for her-- in this map.
