If it's inspiration, creativity and uniqueness you seek.. You have come to the right place! Stroll up and down Pearl street pedestrian mall, where you will spend hours upon hours soaking up creative inspiration from local artists. Grab a cup of coffee at The Laughing Goat and a bite to eat at The Med ( excellent happy hour!) If you're in need of an inspiring conversation, walk down to any corner and chat it up with a hippie and see where they're on their way too. If you become friends, go grab a brew at the Twisted pine brewery where they're always trying something new! Boulder- never a dull moment!
If you haven't had the chance to visit Boulder yet, you are in for a real treat. It's the capitol of " anything goes" which applies to style, religion and of course, food. Home to the University of Colorado, Boulder is diversified by the thousands of students that attend here as well as the locals. The starting point is our house, because we reside at the geological center of Boulder! 2 blocks east and you're on Pearl Street, which has first class shopping and lots of awesome places to eat. To the West is the "playground of the West" The Flat Irons and Chatauqua Park with endless trails and beautiful views. Be sure to drive up Boulder Canyon, and check out the sleepy mountain town of Nederland and grab some Nepali food at Kathmadu after your hike!
Meander Lincoln Park Zoo, then go grab some Mediterranean bread just 3 blocks North at the Chicago Pizza and Oven Grinder on 2121 North Clark Street ( not pictured on map). You'll be glad you did! If you're looking to work off that bread, head South about 10 blocks ( or catch a cab) to The Mag Mile for some serious shopping and watch your wallet really shrink!
