Germany & Switzerland, DE
Over the last few years I visited all these places in beautiful Switzerland. I felt in love with the lakes, gorgeous mountains and historic towns. This little country has everything what I fancy: chocolate, cheese, stunning nature and maybe the happiest cows in the world.
Since I had to cancel all my travelling abroad plans this year, I am doing a lot of hiking in my country. This is the fabulous views you get when hiking my favourite valley: Val di Muggio. It's the southernmost valley in Switzerland: wild, unspoiled + full of history. On clear days, you can see Monte Rosa + the Matterhorn.

Some of my favorites places to do, to see and to taste. Start at the windmills in Zuid Holland (since 1740), Tulips (since 1593), Lakenvelder cow (since 12th century), and go on until you end at the ice cream store Talimini in Zutphen (now).
Mastic/Mastic Beach/Shirley is a hidden gem for all summertime activities. Enjoy fishing, swimming, tanning, boating, crabbing, surfing, rowing...pretty much anything beach/sealife related that involves a "ing" at the end.
If you're lucky enough to win a camping spot for the week of July 4th (the spaces sell out in seconds early December 3rd) you're in prime location for watching fireworks over The Bay.
For food, avoid "fast food alley" at all costs and opt for the local stops. Ice cream cottage, Mike's place, TJ's and Nino's have been around for forever and are much loved. Also check out Frank & Son's Italian bakery and Mama Lisa's pizzeria(their grandma pizza is amazing!) on Montauk Highway.
This is a wall painting that we drew on the wall behind reception desk of a guest house- it's name is called Phranakorn Nornlen, located at the heart of Old Bangkok - where you can find the beautiful community which is truly authentic and remained undisturbed by modernisation.
