It’s a city of medieval houses and narrow cobblestoned streets with a very romantic and cozy waterfront and lovely parks – just perfect for a stroll. And there is always the right time to clink glasses with the locally grown sparkling wine! In December the famous Christmas market takes place and the beautifully lit old town makes just the perfect backdrop for impressive memories of a lovely visit.

This place is special to me because I have moved to Trier from Moscow 2 years ago and i have totally fallen in love with this place. Trier is over 2,000 years old – making it the oldest city in Germany with an astonishing 8 UNESCO World Heritage Sites. There is a lot to see in downtown Trier with traces of the Roman times almost everywhere you look. The city is often referred to as the “Rome of the North” because it served as the key city of the Roman northern territories. There are many beautiful vineyards located around Trier which are perfect for taking walks. But there’s plenty of nature inside the city of Trier as well. Old trees rise among the historic buildings, casting welcome shade in the summertime. Trier has a special atmosphere all of its own. It is an ancient city but young at heart.

Rothenberg is such a cute town. Since I walked in there, the cute houses on the street tell me all the story in Rothenberg. The stone road, the small solder figure, and It is just like walking in a fairy tale world. I just can't stop look at the houses.

Spend an adventurous afternoon looking for hidden treasure amongst the castle ruins and set the lady Veronika free of her curse. If it doesn't turn out according to the foretold legend, you can still throw a coin in the wishing well, visit the art gallery or admire the medieval architecture along the Šutna street.
My family has been vacationing in Michiana for one week in August every year since I was very little. We spend most of our time on the beach reading and searching for beach treasures. It is the most relaxing week of summer and I look forward to it every year. It will always hold a place in my heart and I hope in the future to continue this tradition when I start my own family.
This is just the nicest park in town! Forget about all the touristy places, the coffeeshops & the RedLightDistrict. Boring! Go picnic and chill with the locals. Walk a little further into the park to get away from the crowds, it's much nicer and you'll enjoy the walk!
Here's the the most coolest and warmest city! Minneapolis is not only charming, cozy, with beautiful nice people, it has a vibrant music atmosphere, scenery that will leave you in awe, and food to die for!
