During lockdown I started illustrated joyful moments to keep the family spirit up and running. Every little detail of this household map is linked with a special moment during lockdown from turning a melon into a bumblebee, to watching pigeons showering in the rain, playing music and learning new skills.

The Pelion region (at Thessaly towards the Pagasitic Gulf) is known as the home of the Centaurs and the summer playground of the Olympian gods. The Pelion region was known as the 'healing mountains' because the slopes were prolific with both medicinal and magical plants. 'Healing waters' flow in the crystal clear mountain streams. Pelion is the home of Chiron, the most famous of the Centaurs, known for his healing and mentoring.
Tivua Island (called MYSTERY ISLAND) is a small coral cay. It is one of the many many islands in Fuji's Mamanuca group and is surrounded by a beautiful white sand beach and large lagoon. It takes just 7 minutes to walk around the whole island. There are only two cottages and electricity is by generator. The island is used for day trips from Nadi but at night it becomes your own private island! The only light is from lanterns and the glorious starry sky!!!During the nesting season it is also a sanctuary for turtles!
There are some beautiful old buildings full of character dotted around New Zealand. Here are a selection from the suburb of Ponsonby in Auckland.
This is Po Fook Ancestral Halls / memorial halls (also sometimes known as Bao Fook). It is a large, modern-ish burial ground near the 10,000 Buddha temple in the Sha Tin area of Hong Kong. Confused tourists often end up here whilst trying to find the 10,000 Buddha temple, which has a small entrance a little bit further down the road. However this place is worth a look anyway, with a big jumble of red and white traditional style buildings which pile up on several layers around a big pagoda in the middle. There is also some really peaceful gardens by the base of the temple full of turtles lazing in the sun.
