Our Lacoste group from SCAD took a four day journey to Paris and had a crazy time there. It was at the Arch de Triomphe on the final day that I got a great overal view of where things were in relation to each other in Paris and felt it would do for a map
London, England, GB
A fantastical depiction of flying high above the Welsh countryside in a hit air balloon. There is something appealing about balloon flight- the way their bright colours stand out from the landscape, but somehow fit in; as they drift gracefully. A romantic notion and what better way to view the beauty of Snowdonia National park?
Auburn, Washington State, US
This place offers tourists a beautiful scenic view of the bay.

The east side of Amsterdam's harbour, behind the Central Station, has become THE place to be, with cafe's, restaurants & clubs suddenly appearing all over the place. Many tourists will not know all these places. Included in the map are all the addresses! Although most places are to be found on the internet - now you can jump in a taxi with the address and go have fun!!
I based the composition on two main features of the city: a map of the 'T' line (the rail network) and the 'Freedom Trail' (a red brick path around the city). My aim was to capture the fun and variety within this history-rich place and the variety of colours offered by the green parks, brick buildings and harbour.
I know that Labin is not famous or big, but it's very quaint and historical small place...and it's my hometown! If you ever come visit this place It'll be my joy to give you a guided tour and tell you all about the legends and stories of this town :D
I trekked this circuit last year and was blown away by all the different views I encountered. I especially liked the hand painted trucks that belched out clouds of smoke as they weaved amongst the goats and struggled up the Himalayan roads.
From the palace the streets go out like rays through the houses and the huge forest- that is why Karlsruhe is also called "the fan city". The sights are from 18th century onwards. It's a little piece of heaven where you can be in touch with nature, feel like royalty in the royal garden, and still be in a very contemporary city.
