Kew Gardens is one of the most special places in London. It is huge and beautiful with all kind of plants and magical gardens. My favourite places are the waterlily house, the Pagoda and the Palm house where you forget that you are in a big city. In this map you can see some of the buildings and gardens but it is much more, it’s great place to explore and discover.

The holy city of Varanasi, Benaras or Kashi on the banks of river Ganges in Uttar Pradesh, India, is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. River Ganges, the longest river of India and the soul of Varanasi, draws pilgrims who take a dip in its holy waters and perform funeral rites of their loved ones, as Hindus believe death in Varanasi brings salvation.
A boat ride over the Ganges at sunrise & sunset is one of the best ways to experience the colourful ancient city & spiritual capital of India, that stands frozen in time contrasting our modern world.
Tibetan prayer flags or Dar-Cho as they are called, are a common sight in the Himalayas and in Sikkim, it's the vertical ones hung on bamboo poles that attract attention. The 5 colors in the flags represent the 5 elements in nature and the mantras written on the flags are carried through the blowing wind. With Mt. Kanchenjunga in the background (almost always shrouded in clouds) the colourful prayer flags add rustic beauty to the landscape.
Reigate is a vibrant market town, very close to where I live, full of restaurants, bistros, cafes, boutique shops and entertainment. It has a beautiful park for all sorts of activities, which hosts outdoor cinema in the summer and an ice rink in the winter. It nestles under the Surrey Hills and the North Downs way for hiking. It is only half an hour from London and less than an hour to the sea!
Singing with my husband , baking and painting are part of my relaxing moments. But some are very stressful, like when the grocery box is delivered at my doorstep. Video calls with friends and family are very helpful. I have a call with my Mom every day, She is alone at home so is the way we can stay close! But we can't forget that at 7 pm is time to clap at our balconies and be grateful for the hard work of the Front-line care workers. At the end of the day Netflix is our best friend. I am glad to be safe and healthy until now! I forgot to draw about my online Yoga class. I'm trying to do at least twice a week!! I can't promisse more! I have lots of things to do at Home!
Frankfurt has a long tradition of selling fresh products on the streets. There have been farmers' markets in Frankfurt since the 12th century. The map shows six of the overall 20 farmers' markets, which exist in the city of Frankfurt nowadays. Each district has its own one an a particular day of the week from Tuesday to Saturday.
Last summer my partner and I spent some time in the Greek Islands, Crete being our favourite! Here’s a cute little travel bit of the white-washed brick chapels, Cretan coastline, Cretan food, weaves & pottery & more! Hope this image transports you to the sun-kissed island jewel that is Crete x
When quarantine started because of COVID-19, I decided to spend this time doing things I couldn't do very much until then.
Even in this situation, there are many things I can do in and around the house, and I was able to notice the small happiness in my life.
It was very encouraging to see how people all over the world were spending this time through their unique drawings.
Thank you so much for such a wonderful project!
