I grew up in Monterey and always appreciated how quaint my little town is. It's often very foggy here, which surprises most people when I tell them. This map was created for Rebecca Bradley's Illustrating Maps class at MICA
A map I made for Rebecca Bradley's Maps: Real and Imagined course at MICA! Being a reporter, my mom knows all the best places to eat in one of the best cities in the world (in my opinion)!
The perfumes Society were looking to commission a map of London for an event they were holding. The commission involved creating a detailed map of London, focusing on East London, Central and parts of West London. The important details involved creating well know places and location, which people could recognise. The map should be illustrative and practical at the same time with anyone looking at it, being able to use it to navigate or plan with.

The famous university town of Oxford is a wonderful place to visit. Here are a few of my favorite things to do there. The many (free!) museums are excellent places to spend some time, and if the weather is jolly then a trip to the botanic garden or a boat ride on the river Isis is a great idea.
