I like the "historic" and "modern" concept behind your map. It's funny, now that I think about it: this division is true for a lot of cities in India that have a river running through them. They tend to be "old city" on one side and "modern" on the other side of the river. Ahmedabad is the same.

Very cute,you've made even the 'down market side' (as good Punjabis would describe it) look upscale!!!Anyways I always preferred the 9 yard that side of the river sari!Putting up a print out in my daughters room too (no copy right issues there I hope).Cheers Amal
