My husband and I went to Iceland back in 2014. I miss it a lot until now. As much as I love the scenery, I'm also amused with Reykjavík's palette. Thus, for this piece, I chose places that we've been to and those that caught my eye: our favorite hot dog stand, a store with a teal façade, a red & white gallery, the hostel we stayed in and the post office where I sent postcards to my friends as well as myself. In this illustration, I also tried to reimagine the story they told us wherein, during one of the nights, the Aurora Borealis was so strong it can be viewed in the city. They turned off the power so that residents & tourists alike can enjoy the light show.
