Since we have lived here in Germany I have loved visiting the Christmas markets from the end of November. The big ones such as Frankfurt and Wiesbaden are wonderful but my favourites are the ones in the small towns around us that pop up just for a weekend during Advent and contain all the delicious treats: roasted caramelised almonds, glühwein and wonderful handicrafts and decorations! Here are my favourites.
