For your next trip to Venice I highly suggest staying on Lido! You can bike and swim everywhere. It's like a big, beautiful, tropical Italian paradise. And, if you must go to Venice, it's only a 12 minute vaporetto ride away, but trust, one taste of Lido and you might not need Venice!
