Weehawken, NJ is a small town on the western shore of the Hudson River. Perched at the top of a cliff, it boasts a magnificent view of Manhattan, and is known for being the site of the famous duel between Aaron Burr and Alexander Hamilton. Its historic water tower, inspired by the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence, glows red and can be seen from New York City. Among its many grand Victorian homes, Weehawken's public library stands out for its beautiful restoration. People enjoy the waterfront for dining, recreation and relaxation. Weehawken also happens to be the place I call home.
