Silpakorn University is located in Bangkok, Thailand and the campus of it's Art Center occupies 2 former royal buildings. It is a beautiful place. We are honored that an illustration class at this prestigious school was given the assignment of illustrating a map for They Draw & Travel. 

26 maps were created and they all feature places in Thailand that range from downtown Bangkok to the remote mountain villages up north. Thailand is no stranger to tourists and it's not easy to find places that are "off-the-beaten-path", until now! 

Many of these maps illustrate places that you might not find in any old guide book such as the Mong Doipui Villages in Chiang Mai, all the flea markets in Bangkok, or all the yummy places to eat in Banpong! And, one of the maps even features the campus at which these students attend school - see below - with a campus this beautiful no wonder their artwork is so great!
